Conclusion

IanThe only (and I emphasise only) reason I have given this presentation, is because The proclamation of The Gospel has been undermined by unjust allegations against Tony Anthony. I know that I will need to give an account to God as to how I have lived my life, (and at my age) probably sooner than later. Therefore, I want to make it perfectly clear I, with a clear conscience, am going to continue to stand by Tony and what I have said.

I have no hesitation in saying that this young man has a real passion to share The Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ with as many people as possible, and because he is so grateful to God for how Jesus has changed his life, it is fair to say, he feels compelled to do so.

He is both an encourager, and one who challenges on the issue of The Proclamation of The Gospel being the most important priority of The Church, and therefore, by implication, for individual Christians.

He is also a gifted Evangelist, and I thank God since I have come to know Tony, through his encouragement, I am now regularly sharing The Good News of Jesus in a way I have never done before.

Instead of rejoicing in the fact that many thousands of people have heard The Message of Salvation clearly presented to them (as The Apostle Paul most certainly would have done, as previously has been noted) it is so sad there has been considerable negativity alleged against him More than that, what has been alleged, has not, and cannot be substantiated.

Tony is so determined to do what is right, he refuses to get caught up in defending himself. He knows that The Bible says: “…what credit is it if, you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently. But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow in His steps……who when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously.” 1 Pet. 2:20-23.

and that

Jesus also said: “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in Heaven….” Matt. 5:11-12.

I, however, am only trying to do for Tony what Barnabas did for Saul, when he defended him before the people of Jerusalem because they did not believe his amazing transformation was genuine. Acts 9:26-27.

I say to all who read this presentation: Go, and benefit through the ministry of Tony Anthony (an undoubted “Trophy of God`s Grace”) because even if Jesus was here today, there still would be those of whom it would be said:-

“He came to His own and His own did not receive Him.” (Jn. 1:11)

Listen to the message; don’t look at the man and then make up your own mind as to the truth of the matter.
